Clip+/Nano alternatives

Seems to be a frustratingly small amount of mp3 players in this segment, and was wondering if I had missed out any.

The clip+ is a good player, but would like a slightly bigger screen to be able to navigate with ease and much better battery life. Real controls are also essential for controlling in pocket. Few weeks ago bought the Sony s755 player, but in Europe the volume cap makes it unusable outdoors (for me).

So something no larger than a nano unless it is very thin and light, and with good battery life. All the Cowons either seem too big, or the right size with touch controls.

Can you buy US spec sony players?

US seems to have a different roster of players. Not sure there is anything the same as s755, might be the a series but seems a bit of a downgrade with thicker, heavier body.

Looks very similar alright. You have heard of others saying VC isn't present? Pity I never saw that before buying 755.

It is very similar, but a bit cheaper build wise.
