Hi. I'm new 'round these parts.
I currently have a Sennhesier HD 555 and a Fiio E7 DAC/amp. My general impression of the HD 555 is good, although I have a nagging suspicion that it cost more than it is worth. As for the Fiio E7, I am wholeheartedly pleased with the purchase. It alone has allowed me to listen to music static- and distortion-free on my various computers.
I have no need for closed-back headphones, and I primarily listen to rock, classical, orchestral, jazz, and easy listening vocal stuff by people who can actually sing (no Justin Bieber for me, sorry). My ceiling is $100, although cheaper is better.
What do you recommend?
