National RS-7768 Reel to Reel Deck/Player worth $70?

I found one on craigslist:

Is this thing worth $70 USD ($10 for gas to come 20min to me)? Should I get it? Tapes seem to be found cheap like $5-$10 on ebay nowadays. There was a fully restored TEAC at my local vinyl store for $700, so yeah is this thing worth it? Buying it in a few hours possibly.

Thanks for replying, but I passed up the deal and decided to get a much higher quality one later. TEAC A-2340R anyone?
