BEST AMP DIY Board Question vs Prebuild

Hi. I found this board LINK

What have I read so far it has great chip and opamp, what other components I need to connect to my speakers 2x50Watt 4 ohm, or point me to where I can read more about it.biggrin.gif

Yes I do. the blue board above has great components, so what other components I need to connect my passive speakers to it.Thanks.:)

The pictured preamp needs a power supply, casing, jacks and knobs. You'll probably have to spend another $100 or so to turn it into a preamp.

Then it would have to be fed to a power amp. The speakers would then be connected to the power amp.

But considering the cost and trouble of casing this and finding a power amp, why not just get an older receiver?

The components don't seem to be anything terribly special. That doesn't matter so much, however, because a good circuit is much more important than the parts.

What chips brand numbers are great for AMP then which one do you recommend.

Thanks for the reply. Which AMP uses that Chip,which one do you recommend. Im also gonna buy Asus Xonar D2X, I dont want to buy a crapy amp.

Many amps use that chip. 

 

I made an amp that uses only that chip, which was interesting because its not conventionally used that way. 

 

Dont worry about the chips. Dont worry about the topology. Dont worry about anything but how the amp sounds.
