WORST headphone you ever heard? - Page 25

I'm new here, but not too long before I took my first steps into higher-end audio, I found these:

The Sentry Wind-Up MP3 earbuds. I thought I was lucky to win these at an arcade in Vegas, considering my last pair of cheap earbuds broke on me in the middle of vacation.

But then I started using them.

They didn't have left or right labels, so I had no idea which earbud went in which ear. Furthermore, I was not an audiophile then, so I don't remember how it sounded aside from the non-existent bass, but you really didn't need to know much about audio to tell that these were terrible. And worst of all, one ear shorted out just days after getting them, before I even made it home from said vacation.  

With all of this going for it, I find it hard to imagine even the most passive, casual listeners being satisfied by this junk. Even if they were free, I would never take them again. 

I thought I had found the ones, but oh buy, was I wrong. I've heard worse now! There's a flight simulator cabin at my university and some guys took the $2 USD headphones from a cheap bus to use during simulation. Wow...they are sooooo bad it is amazing. If that wasn't enough, they are incredibly uncomfortable. I just LOVE how bad these are hahaha. I'll donate the Koss UR-20 I have around; they are way better (!) and I hate them, but it will be a nice upgrade over those bus headphones. 

The B&W P3/5 are both very bad. Neither are any good IMO

Worse headphone I ever heard...other than Apple earbuds or stock earbuds, I would say the SL300 from Soul eh?

whatever the hell the base model is of these,

there are WESC/Superdry/Hello Kitty/Spongebob/Sports brands/god knows what else. 

Nothing but poorly controlled bass, nonexistent treble and a jaw destroying fit. 

Why the hell some companies think charging £50+ ($80+) for these and adding a "Professional" tag on the box is acceptable escapes me.

Got a free pair from the company I work for, I gave them away soon after and don't regret it. 

They were camoflage though... 

A set of IEMs from Pondland. I was curious to hear just how bad a £1 set of earphones could sound. They completely lacked bass or treble and sounded so distant. Fell apart within the hour too, which meant I couldn't burn them in properly. doubt it'd have made much difference

As for the worst head phones, I would say the razer carcharias (or however you spell it). It isn't that the sound quality was bad, but the build quality was terrible, and for 80 bucks, I could have spent an extra 20 and bought some grado sr80i's
For the worst sound I have ever heard, the sennheiser CX150s SUCK!!!!!!!!!! They sound like the music is coming from inside of a metal trash can. I feel like taking the buds off an loading them into a black powder rifle and shooting the designer. I am dead serious when I say that I bought some headphones for 5 bucks from 5 and bellow, and they sound a million times better.

Well, otu of my iphone with 320 kbit mp3's. Not good source, but since they are made for that... The p3 sounded like a muddy mess, and the p5 was overly bright.

Mine was either the Earpollution Mogul or the Sony MDR-ZX100. Both are pretty horrifying.

I've owned a pair of B&W P5s for almost two weeks and I can say that I am extremely disappointed. Even after attempting to padding mod they still sound muddled and the soundstage is, frankly, horrific. Actually, there is no stage to speak of. All of the sound appears to be coming out of somewhere in the thalamus. 

I'm actually returning them later this afternoon.
