Good sub $150 IE headphones?

Hello,

I have had Klipsh s4 for about a year now and i think i want to take a step up and get a more expensive pair of IE headphones. Im thinking of getting the Ultimate Ear 700 or the etymotic hf5. How do these compare to the klipsh or any other sub 150 IE headphone.

I listen to a big variety of music but stay away from hip hop and country. I do enjoy a little dubstep but I dont want the headphones to have booming bass.

Thanks

I will recommend the HF5 because it;s offers great details in mids and extended highs with good punchy bass but bass won't be boomy at all. The other IEMs are like EX600, DBA-02, RE0, UE TF10Pro, PFE112 and Image X5.

If you do listen to dubstep occasionally, I'd skip the Ety, they're infamous for being deep bass shy, and IMO they hurt (deep insertion).  I love my TF10 for a versatile IEM.  I listen to everything on them, and they sound great straight from a DAP, but really shine when amped.
