I'm sure this has been talked about in previous threads, but let's be realistic here. Searching on Head-fi leads to countless unrelated topics or threads that have been dead for years now and I do not like grave digging.
I would like to ask of you knolwedgeable people, what would happen to the sound if you mix different types of cables for your interconnects and headphone cable?
For example:
iPod -> Blue Dragon V3 USB to LOD -> CLAS -> Twag V2 Coax SPDIF to Coax SPDIF -> iBasso DB2 -> Blue Dragon V3 balanced Hirose to Kobiconn iris (RSA) -> RSA SR71B -> Twag V2 LCD2 cable balanced -> LCD2
And what if we mixed Piccolino into this combination?
Would the sound ultimately be decided on the LCD-2 cable? What would be the result of the sound from the mixed interconnects?
The reason behind my asking this question is that I would like to find out if it's worth having all Piccolino cables in my system for interconnects, or if the sound of regular interconnects with a Piccolino LCD2 cable be like that of the all-Piccolino.
Thank you all,
GG
