So it seems the general view is that the XBA-3 is a wiser choice than the XBA-4. Thanks for the update.

I am having a hard time deciding between XBA-3 and XBA-4. I enjoy bass but I do not want the bass to over-power the track. Thanks in advance.

pulled the trigger on XBA-4 from ebay. I might do an unboxing of it since here is non on youtube. Now just got to find a way to see if they are legit.

Wow just Pre Order the XBA-1 from Amazon for my wife :) they sound great! on paper, time to upgrade the Shure e2g.

 

Just Cancelled the order. Think Im going to wait for more reviews and be less impulsive... still they look and the specs are great

Any word on the Sony XBA-NC85D? These catch my attention, because I was always afraid to use iem's because I was worried about damaging my hearing from high spl. Are these any good?

I think the point of IEMs ( and their ability to block ambient noise ) is so you don't have to turn up the music loud, for good sound. High SPL really shouldn't be an issue.
