Audio GD Phoenix, or B22 [2ch] double cased

 

for my lcd-2s?, I do have a balanced 3pin dual xlr for the phoenix, and the b22 is obv 1/4 plug

To be honest, neither. AudioGd have seem to have an irrational phobia of feedback and opamps, which hardly bodes well for their designs, whilst the Beta22 is overkill from a power perspective and again is the victim of the designer's decision that they, with their cheap scope and RightMark Audio Analyser, can beat many thousands of dollars of instrumentation and a team of experts at, say, Texas Instruments.

What are you going to be using as a source, or are you in the market for one of them too?

 

The LCD-2's aren't exactly sensitive headphones, but they certainly don't need 6W or anything stupid like that.
