Saw this on ebay, would it do a good job of driving orthos? like the HE5LE's? i'm liking it for all the inputs it has, will save me swapping cables round and stuff.

ahh too late, my trigger finger got itchy, i've clicked "buy it now".

I wish I would have seen this sooner.  For the price, the Maverick Audio stuff is fantastic.  I have the A1 and it does an almost embarrassingly good job of driving most of the headphones I've plugged into it. 

 

BUT...

 

I did NOT like it with my Audezes.  It sounded OK but definitely thin and a little harsh in spots.  This is with the A1, too...so maybe the D1 will be different for you.  Best of luck!
