Indigo dj vs. iBasso or Pico USB Dac/Amps

I'm thinking to try something different from my Indigo dj (line out), that I'm very satisfied nevertheless.

So I'm wondering if an iBasso dac or a Pico dac would be in the same (very high indeed) league.

Also with one of these I'd save the cable connecting the indigo with the amp, so I'm expecting an improvement.  

Anyone compared them?

  • Pico DAC/Amp is a bit warm, with a smooth presentation.

  • The iBasso allows for rolling so it can change sound signature.

 

I had a couple of switches go out on the iBasso and repaired them.

 

The Pico DAC/Amp is smaller and seems really well-built.

 

 

Read the iBasso rolling threads and if you don't want to bother with that, get the Pico DAC/Amp and enjoy it!  

 

(My recommendation...)
