what about wireless headphones?

Hi.  i am always on the look for improving my portable listening experience.  for now it seems that iem's is the best choice for high quality audiophile on the go. this made me think about wireless bluetooth headphones.

how is the sound quality?  do some of you use this kind of headphones outside on the go?

how many hours will my cowon j3 last with bluetooth operation?

in other words, what i am asking is...are there any audiophile wireless (portable) headphones?

Consider Kleer technology vs Bluetooth.  Sound quality is superior but not as many options exist.

You may find something you like and are happy with but a portable wireless audphile headphone is a little too much to ask for.  You asking for one headphone to have a built in audiophile level amp and DAC (or 2 actually, one for each ear).  Your asking to shrink your normal home setup (which for me is at least 20 pounds) to a few ounces - oh and it has to have a battery too.

hi plonter,

Have you considered Sennheiser's portable Bluetooth models - PX 210 BT (on ear) and PX 360 BT (over-ear)?
