Maybe someone can chime in here on why/how the sound will differ from other versions but apparently they are releasing 4 different sets/varieties of remasters, some of which with some new, unreleased material (both songs and artwork).

Im sure this has been discussed before but Amazon just put them up for pre-order today.

I'm looking forward to the "Wish You Were Here" SACD. Sure wish they'd put out the rest in hi-rez, but WYWH will make me plenty happy.

This makes me sad.

While I'm against brick walling, I get why it keeps happening in pop music. BUT this is supposed to be a remaster that does a classic piece of music justice, how can it when you strip away the dynamics?

Lame.
