Do these exist?! I have done some searching and I'm coming up empty. I would like to avoid having to go through my computer to listen to music if I can. My budget is $200. Is there anything out there that works for that price? Thanks.

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

The Western Digital HDTV is a cheap music server ($100) that plays files from an external USB hard drive and has both digital and analog outputs, however it does need an external monitor and it does not support gapless playback

Look into an AppleTV to serve music off your computer. $100, but I think you can get a refurbished one (with full warranty) at apple.com. If you have an iPhone, Touch or iPad, you can use it as a remote control.
Thanks for the replies. I'll have to check this stuff out.
