X-Fi Titanium HD Opamps with dt770 pros

Hi all,

I would really appreciate any help with regards to what opamp is best for my needs :)

I currently have the DT770 80 ohm pros, the most important aspect of the sound for me is great bass, then highs and i heard the AD797ANZ for bass and highs is great, but mids are not as forward as the stock opamp! However as the DT770 pros already have recessed mids i am wondering if it will be a problem?

Also dont really know what i would replace the I/V or Buffers lol (i dont have the Ti HD yet BTW just about to order it XD)

So best opamp for:

1: Bass

2: Highs

3: Mids

4: Overall

Thanks allot

AD797?

Good chip, great soundstage, a little dry, neither forward or laid-back, but lacks treble control a bit.

Ok thanks, would you reccomend another chip, as you dont sound too keen on the AD797 is the OPA827 a better option?

And would i replace the I/V or the buffer? (sorry bit of a noob at this haha)
