Albums that are like good books - Page 2

Lou Reed - Berlin (1973)

A very tragic, depressive and gloomy story, it somehow gets under your skin and I once in a while still "enjoy" listening to it.

Maybe one of the best Lou Reed's albums!

Yes Fragile - HDTracks has a relatively new and excellent 24/96 download of it.

"Hospice" by The Antlers.

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned already. This album literally gave me goosebumps for 51 minutes and 51 seconds.

I have never heard of Hospice, but I'm enjoying it as of now. Lou Reed is also one of my favorites.

Thanks for all the good recommendations.

Yes King Diamond is always telling dramatic connected story songs in his albums. Two of my favorites are his THE GRAVEYARD and THE SPIDER'S LULLABYE.

Other gotta listen to the whole album in one sitting choices are:

Gary Numan- Replicas

King Crimsom- In The Court Of The Crimson King

Isao Tomita- Firebird
