2.0 Spekaer + AMP + DAC + Sound Card

So I have 2 x 50 Watt passive speaker 4 ohm, need to get an amp, thats for sure LINK.:)

I wanted to go with Asus Xonar DX, the only game Im going to play is BF3, I play piano 60 % of the time and listen to classical music, and only watch really good movies which are like 1-4 per month, and of course weekly tv shows, thats it.

Now is  there any combo (DAC + AMP) as one unit for these speakers bellow 200$, so I dont have to get the AMP above(if its any good) and the sound card, also can change opamp in the DAC..:)

Im also going to get Audio Technica AT2020 for singing and VoIP

Thank you for your time.:)

P.S - I have this mobo M4A79XTD EVO, audio VIA VT1708S.:)

Hmm just in case: you do know that the PSU is not supplied with that Sure right? That is a speaker amp fine to drive 4/6/8 ohm passive speakers actually. Also elaborate on what speakers u intend to pair it with and where u at so we have a better idea what solutions are available L3000.gif

Thanks for the reply.

1.The SURE AMP if that is chosen I would buy the PSU seperatlly localy.:)

2.Speakers Are from 1992, build quilaty is great sound is awesome, Simens brand, there are 50 W per chanell 4 ohm

I would rather go DAC+AMP as one unit if that is possible.:)

Nah the only DACs in amps that approach decent levels would be rather pricey surround processors/receivers so you really better off buying amp + DAC/soundcard seperately at lower budgets beerchug.gif I dun game these days but Xonars might not be the best for gaming

Thanks trog, are there any other external DAC in that price range so I can read up on them or do you recommend that DAC highly in that prize range.smile.gif

Well it seems to be a value for money DAC at that price point but if you could ask owners how their gaming experience went with that but for music it seems to perform well tongue_smile.gif
