Hey guys, trying to make an LOD type cable for my iphone 3g so i can use in my mom's car. Here's the situation, I like clear audio, my mom has a Ford Expedition (2006) with a dvd player and no aux. input. So i just plug my iphone into an aux. cable that goes to a 3.5mm female and rca right and left that is in the dvd player. When I want to listen to music I just put all that together, and put the stereo on 'DVD aux' and it works. The problem is, I don't think I'm getting good audio, so my plan is to get an old iphone usb cable and somehow hook it up either the the RCA plugs, or the aux. cable (directly into it or solder it)

 

I just want to know how to do it. I don't know what wires to put together.

 

I took apart my aux. cable, and it has a red, black, and a wire without a coating, and the iphone usb cable has a green, red, white, and black cable.
