For Sale:
Beyerdynamic DT990 600 ohms

Will Ship To: Anywhere

FS: Beyerdynamic DT990 600 ohms in very good condition, with box.  Price lowered to $170 plus shipping. This is the older model which many people say sounds much better than the newer 600 ohm model.  It comes with the soft fabric pads.  It has not seen much use in the years I have had it.

urmm some1 in this post says its like the modern 880/600 sound ? correct no?

 

n also later on if i wanna change them pads cn be fitted with currently in the market velour beyer pads rite?

 

how old is this stuff man? really tank looking cans n al

The last time I heard the 880 was probably 5 years ago, so I can't comment about the modern 880 because it may be different.  To me the one I heard was pretty bright and a little light on bass.  This one has the best balance of any Beyer phone I've heard...but like I said that's been awhile now.  It has well extended highs and very solid bass.  Of course you need a good amp to drive these, as they need some voltage to drive the high impedance.  These have velour pads, I'm sure they can be changed if desired.  I'm not sure how old these are but I've had them for 6 or 8 years at least and I got them second hand.  I've probably put no more than 50 hours on them over that time.  I would prefer I US buyer but azizul if they don't sell by Monday and if you are still interested in them send me a pm and I can quote you cost to send to you.

Hi again, sorry for not responding via PM - I hadn't realized there was a limit of 2 per day.

 

I think I will in fact buy them for the price we discussed via PM. One more question - do you have extra earcups that you might be able to replace on those? I'd be happy to buy them off you, as I'm sure I'll be looking to replace those as soon as I get them.
