I'm asking Santa for a set of HE-500, a Schiit Lyr and Bifrost to complete the deal. Already know it's happening though basshead.gif

Well no one really buys me these kind of stuff so I buy it for myself usually. Right now I'm too poor to buy myself something, but I guess my recently arrived Arror 4G counts as my own personal X-Mas gift.

I want HD650 and Burson...

I'm thinking about the HE-400 or the HE-500.  Not sure either is worth it. . .really not sure about the 500's. . .but damn curiosity is a powerful money extractor!

Don't be let down yet.  There is also the Hackintosh approach.  Here are the best 2012 laptops for such activity: http://www.macbreaker.com/2012/09/best-hackintosh-laptops-2012-mountain-lion.html

Not exactly a MacBook but close, and can be done for well under half the cost.

As far as what would be realistic for me to get, I have no idea what I'd want. There's nothing I really need. I'm happy with my current headphone setup, my computer is pretty nice, I have a nice TV and all the consoles I care to own... I dunno, I guess my monitor is getting a little dated.

If I were rich, or had a rich relative, I think this would be pretty neat: A 1911 with a 460 Rowland conversion kit:

1000

Basically turns a 1911 into a semi-automatic .44 magnum.

EDIT: Just like the last time I posted in this thread I thought I was in General Discussion. Silly me. In that case, I'd dig an SPL Phonitor.

Second HD 7950 for crossfire, a 2560x1440 27 inch Monitior, A 256GB SSD drive,  A Audio-GD SA-31  And AD2000. All of those  will never happen unless I win the lotto except for the  256GB SSD  and/or a Second HD7950 and Auria EQ 276W 2560x1440 montior. Well I really wouldnt mind  undoing the Tinnitus thats in my left ear, Its not bad just notice able when I am in a dead quiet room and is bored.
