Yeah, I read the lossless / mp3 thing on a french blog with google translate, I think they were just confused by the HI/LO gain settings.

Apparently the battery lasts for approx 35 hours on low gain, and only 5-6 hours on high gain lol. The ownta.com place offers an "emergency battery" though, in case someone using this with the DT 700 / 600 ohm needs more juice lol.

I wonder what the X19HD will sound like with the SRH-940?? That's a headphone that could use some extra juice and hardware bass boost! I don't think I can resist.

Thanks, and well... I think the HM-601 is really thick, I hardly ever take it outside, and the sound quality isn't exacty something to write to the queen of England about, I don't think NOS is her cup of tea.

The Sony XBA-3 is going to cost around the same price as the GR01, so I can't really see it taking off unless it has dual vented balanced air movement or something equally fantastical.
