Desktop amp with analog+3.5mm inputs

Thread Starter

I am new to the world of amps. I was looking for some sort of desktop amp(doesn't need to be portable at all) that can take at least one analog and at least on 3.5mm input. I have no idea what price range I am looking at here (although cheaper is always better as I am a student). Any information would be very helpful. Thanks.

The e9 doesn't have an analog input from my understanding.

I think you mean "RCA unbalanced" input when you say "analogue".  You're right, it doesn't have it, only 3.5mm input, which is also analogue.  I don't know of any other with both inputs you want, except possibly one or more of the HeadRoom amps.  You can always get a mini-to-RCA adapter cable for amps without 3.5mm input.

The Matrix M-Stage is a good amp you can go for, but lacks 3.5mm input.  It has two RCA unbalanced inputs, so you can use the type of adapter cable I mentioned on one input if need be.
