Thought I'd chime in here. My girlfriend no longer worries about how much I spend because she's realized I'm much better with money management than she is.

She does however get very jealous when I buy something new because she doesn't have that much 'free' money to spend. So she hates seeing me spend a lot.

I can understand that, but I'm busting my butt working so I can have these nice things. I also hardly ever eat out, and pinch pennies like crazy. Hmmm...
