on a standard Stereo Amp - where would you take the signal for an active sub?

If your stereo amp has no pre-out for sub then it means u have to use speaker wires from the amp to the high level input of the active sub, set crossover frequency and run the bookshelf speakers/satellites off the high level out of sub
