Soooo any suggestions? I can use around 100-150$ or so.

Heya,

 

Are you referring to what you're going to be listening to, or what you're going to be doing?

 

I ask because drummer headphones are rather different from something that merely reproduces the sound.

For electronic music get some Ultrasone, start with the HFI/Pro 550, DJ1/Pro, the M-50 are also okay.

If he is listening to drum n bass M50 is not o.k.

IMO he needs an aggresive and fast headphone with good punch..

Better with Ultrasone..
