Can anyone give me the measurements of the space inside the ear cups to see if my ears will fit inside?

I tried applying leather cleaner to the pads three times and I still can't get the smell out. I may have to buy new pads. Bummer

That is why head-fi rules. Good Karma to you my friend! Also thanks, I wondered about the size myself.

I bought the Signature Pro yesterday, and I have to say I'm very impressed. I was looking for a true audiophile portable, and I have found it. They aren't fully burned in yet, but they sounded excellent right out of the box. They sound very engaging and refined and nothing seems over pronounced (Unlike the Pro 900 which I tried at the store, Too much bass, too much treble, and not enough mids, it sounded awful). I'm very happy with my purchase, it's definitely worth the money IMO. Amvolante, thanks for the measurements, they fit me perfectly.

daniel521, you FINALLY got 'em! Congrats! I think you made a wise purchase. I am continually impressed with the signature Pro as time goes. I can't think of a better sounding can that is actually portable. You have a top-flight sound in a great package, and I think it looks great. Musical yet detailed, with some of the very best bass in the business. Present and natural mids, and sparkly detailed highs. You just can't go wrong.

I absolutely love them so far! After listening to them for a few hours, I tried the v-moda m-80 and it just sounded muddy in comparison, I couldn't listen to it after listening to the Sig Pro's :P. I think people underestimate the fact that you can take the Sig Pro anywhere, it's great to have such a musical and detailed sound that you can take wherever you go. I have no desire to try any open flagships at the moment. Ultrasone definitely nailed it with this one.

I don't even have a desktop amp and DAC yet, and I'm already enjoying it a lot. I'm expecting it to be a lot better once I get a better setup.
Does anyone here know if the pads are removable? I'm afraid I'll cause some damage to it if I pull the pads too hard, so I didn't try it yet.

Thanks!
I saw a recent mod for the Pro 900 which replaces the velour pads with J$ pads, do you think the J$ pads will fit in the Signature pro? The cups are way too shallow for me which makes them really uncomfortable after an hour or so, so I'm wondering if the J$ pads might fix this problem since they are thicker.

I've had the Sig Pros since September and have found that the headband can conform easily to one's head with a little adjustment and the seal is key. Even with the clamp necessary to get a good seal they are still very comfortable. I have generally disliked clamping headphones but these cause me no discomfort. Get a good seal and they really come alive and are versatile to genre and source. Very neutral. Get the seal wrong and the treble will stab your eardrums and shut down the bass. Seal is key kids!

No, the SP cups are smaller than Ultrasone's PRO series.post #1425 of 157712/3/12 at 2:57am- Sorrodje
