Suggest me a IEM for fuse+ upto $100 only for Rock/Metal genre - Page 2

The GR07 will probably disappoint you. They're dead neutral and can sound boring to people expecting lively bass and energetic treble. Especially people who haven't heard higher quality headphones/IEMs and are used to cheap, boomy stock buds.

While the GR07 are neutral they are far boring as they great sub based and texture in the bass as well as a very good detailed treble that does drum kits wonderfully and they very good for electric guitars and vocals. But that may just how I hear them...

Very good texture and detail, pretty quick but retains good body I feel. The balancing act is a pretty nifty trick. Fantastic distortion guitar representation and drums just feel very real. I think they absolutely eat metal up.

Here's the thing I noticed about vocals recently: very dependent upon recording. If they were recorded and produced to be exciting, then the GR07s will reproduce them that way, and if not then they won't. Simple as that. You'd need to decide if you can live with being at the mercy of the recording haha. They won't add excitement. This of course is a personal opinion.

Some head-fier mentioned something in his review of the GR07 that I find to be more and more true with every listen: they place instruments realistically. Listening to rock, the singer is centered, guitars and bass to either side and drums behind with cymbals off center.
