Phiaton headphones are relatively easy to take apart. Slide the pad plate off, find the screws (might be under the screen which you can peel off), take those out and the whole thing should open up. From there it's just soldering wires back onto the drivers. Just make sure the polarity matches on each side and you'll be fine.
