Should I get UE 500 or Beats Tours or Ibeats?

I am looking to upgrade from my sennheiser cx 500 titanium which cost 150$ and for the price, suck big time. (my opinion)

I can get the UE 500, beats tour, and ibeats from a friend for 50$ each, but he will only give me 1. So I want to know which one is the best. I have heard really bad reviews on the beats but haven't seen much comparisons and threads involving the UE 500s. I don't need super lows but I really want clear mids and highs that I did not find with the cx500. I also own the UE200 which I really liked but found that it lacked bass. UE is definitely better than beats but considering that the beats go for so much more than the ue500, I am wondering if maybe one of the beats models is better.

I'd go with the UE 500, if only because I hear so many stories of Tours and iBeats breaking within a few months (sometimes even weeks).

And when you say "from a friend" do you mean he works in a store or does he simply own them an wants to sell them. I ask because there are also a lot of fake Tours, and probably iBeats.

I'd say UE 500 because I've had experience with both those and the Beats Tour. Here's my comparison:

Bass hits hard, deep and clean on both. Tour has a more full-bodied midrange. UE 500 has a slightly recessed midrange. Tour has harsh peaks in the treble and sounds sibilant. UE 500 has delicious trebles.

So, unless your music has lots of vocals and nothing in the trebles, you'll want the UE 500.

Alright, I'd still go with the UE 500's. Will most likely give you an overall better listening experience.

UE500 anytime.

Honestly, I'd choose almost anything over beats. It's overpriced, sounds colored, lows seems to dominate the other frequencies, way too boomy.

I had these two beats tour, and ibeats

I sent my Beats Tours back 3 times before I just got my money back. The mic would work sometime. The bass was ok. Not a $180 worth. I would not buy them again.

Ibeats $99 not bad had ok Bass. I would say better than the Tours. Mic work a lot better than the tours.

V-Moda-Faze I have now are Good and only cost $40 at Best buy. Mic is ok.

I would go with the UE 500
