The B2 are great for home and portable. I'd rather have the B2 WAY over a SR60i. Even though I love my SR80i to death.

In compare:

My M1's which are $40 brainwavs are little brothers to the B2's. The B2 sounds like a huge step up from the M1's

The M1's sound like a SR60i. everything is the same.

The B2 compare to the SR325i with more clarity and more soundstage.

Sansa would be pretty high.

The Clip+ can play FLAC while also playing way better sound then apple products. But the L3 to the FiiO E7 would make up for that.

For example:

I have a Cowon S9 (great audio player)

I sometimes use it

I also have the Clip+

I always bring it with me outdoors. It's just my little companion.

That's a huge exaggeration. Compared to the Clip+, the iPod has a higher output impedance (7 ohms vs 1) but that won't matter if using the line out to the E7. It also has lower maximum power output and will clip and distort sooner, but that doesn't matter with the E7 either. I'm not aware of any tests that compare the two as DACs only, which is how he would be using his player. The major differences are on the amp side.

To OP, if you are using the computer as source, get a portable DAC+Amp, you could use it as is for the computer and only the Amp for portable if you needed to. iBasso just released a new one. that or the fiio. Ive never heard any of those tho. but I have other iBasso and I use it that way. (so dont drop the dac+amp)

I know Im gonna be ignored but, drop the M50. is 50% hype. the Sony V6 is a more pleasant all arounder for less money. and also more portable and doesnt need to be amped to shine at its best.

BTW I got my triple.fi 10 here at the FS forums for less than those brainwavz are in amazon, you can get very good deals here, from trustable members of course.

This is just crazy talk Bot. Closed phones are never going to sound like open phones, and IEM's are never going to provide a similar presentation to an open phone either, and that's the gist of your ridiculous rhetoric. Also I find your characterization that an IEM that costs half as much as the 325 being able to best it sonically absurd. I've never heard either one but I doubt the B2 could best a 225 let alone the 325.  

To the OP...Progger made a great suggestion, buy used. That way if you dont like it you can put it right back on the forums and get most of your money back. Perhaps a little shrinkage in your original capital due to postage, but a small price to pay to search for a signature that you like. I still dont know what kind of music you like, but if you like rock, an SR60 is going to be a great choice. Also with regard to the SR60, it is renowned as one of the best bang for your buck headphones ever.

Why don't you get Denon AHD-2000?

 +1, they run well without an amp, and with the Fiio combo they will really shine. They should be driven well by E7 portably as well.
