hello forum, I'm curious could i damage my headphones if i use 12dbgain on the sound card instead of 0? I'm using like 70%volume with 0 db gain and around 25% volume with +12db could that actually damage my headphones while using gain instead of zero gain?. ill lower the volume ofc.


but can it technically break my heaphones using higher gain with lowervolume?

No, it shouldn't damage your headphones.

 

Do you know about how loud you're listening in dB? That seems pretty loud.

dunno:P im just lowering untill a volume that im comfortable with.

the numbers are totally wrong its more like 25% and 50%
