LF Amp for Stax Omega MK2 (007A)

Hi everyone.

I'm new in here and I came with some questions.

After the last time I've heard the 007A, it was haunting me ever since, therefore I'm considering buying one.

How ever, the choice of the amp for 007A stopped me from buying the headphone in a heartbeat.

I need to look for a kind of humble setup for the 007A system, and my budget is around 1300 GBP.

So the choices I think will be between WooAudio GES, Rudistor Egmont, KGSS and the original STAX SRM-007tII.

Here comes the difficult part, the GES seems has a lot of bass, the Egmont and KGSS might be discontinued or unavailable, (maybe I didnt find the right site to buy), and the 007tII need a stepdown voltage transformer which I think will affect the quality of the sound.

I'm totally confused at the moment.

Please let me know which is better or even where to buy the Egmont or KGSS.

Welcome to Head-Fi!

You'll likely get a better response regarding STAX if you post in the STAX thread which is in the High-End Audio Forum.  If you're on a budget, it's hard to beat the SRM-323 for the Omega.
