NOTE: This is the LAST Super II Lloyd built with the Auricap AND Blackgate upgrades.  After this s/n, he ran out of the Blackgate capacitors.

Included in this sale:

1 - MAD Ear+ HD Super II amplifier in Sage Green with the passive preamp option, upgraded TRS plugs and RCA jacks, and upgraded parts

2 - sets of Mapleshade Surefoot brass footers.  The amp set is threaded and screwed through the baseplate of the amp.  The PSU set is held to the baseplate with small dabs of adhesive

1 - Custom walnut base (solid) finished with tung oil

1 - set of Mapleshade cork Isoblocks

1 - pair of MAD supplied 12AX7 tubes

1 - pair of MAD supplied JJ EL84 tubes

What can I say...here's your chance to own the last Super II with all the upgrades and a lifetime collection of tubes for it.  The amp has been babied like all my other gear.  Please note the Telefunken tubes in this sale...they are not new, but they are tested good and the ECC83 tubes are some of the most sought-after 12AX7 tubes around.  With headphones like the HD650 or Grados the 5751 tubes are excellent.  They allow you to keep the volume control in the sweet spot over a wider range.

Lloyd says this amp has plenty of juice for LCD-2 orthos (probably stay away from HE-6, etc), sounds great with HD800s, I love the way they sound with my HD650 headphones.  They are always great with the Grados.
