I recently had an OTL tube amp suggesting 120 to 600 ohm cans. Once I got it, ppl were saying 120 ohms is too low for an OTL amp. Now I'm looking at J. Sound Lab's 'Headphone' amp, where it suggests 32-64 ohms for their output transformer vers., and 120-600 ohms for OTL vers. -- I sent an e-mail to J. Sound Lab and they agreed 120 ohm is too low for the OTL version and they suggested I buy the output transformer version.

Can anyone give me some expectations or maybe differences between going w/ the OT vs. OTL vers. for my K601s? Which would you choose? AND K601 owners, what tube amps have you found to give power, headroom, warmness and lushness? I'm also curious about the Decware CSP2+... but that too is an OTL design, but is it powerful enough? Please help. I feel like I have to get an Eddie Current Balancing Act to be fully satisfied -_-

Thank you very much for your time.
