Is he serious about it or not? He should just put down the differences between the IE80 and the IE8 thats all. Maybe he has been served by the Senns.

Don't you hate it when people tease you and keep you on edge ;). So ho many hours do you have on your IE80s now? Are they mellowing out even more. To a certain point that is what worries me. Then again I don't mind them being mellow but I still want them more up front, and of course no veil on the mid range.

It's really going strong, It's not me who is hard up for his review, I've done my comparison and am just wondering what happened to his review. 
 

Has anyone in the UK used these guys? http://www.custom-cable.co.uk/headphones/sennheiser/professional-headphones/sennheiser-ie80-audiophile-earphones.html. They have some ie80's in stock.

It's just a shame I can't find out much about them. I'm really intrigued as I might buy some, but it depends on how much of an improvement they are over the ie8.

sorry i think i may have gone a little overboard but impressions was what was discussed on this thread for bout the past 15 or so pages after maniaca put his up

No that's fine it was my fault for being lazy and not doing a thread search.

I had read the thoughts in this thread, but I've been looking for others on the internet and can't seem to find any. I thought there might be more impressions out there by now.

Until Sennheiser hurries up and finally makes them available, we won't be able to give anymore impressions. There was another guy who supposedly has them but hasn't been back, I kinda doubt hes even telling the truth. I want to see picks before I'd believe him. With so many new users its hard to keep the credibility here.

Well, when I get em, I'll review em (I wonder how long it takes to ship from Germany to Canada?). Either way, once I get them, they're going  to do first impressions within the first 24 hours and a full review within a month

Sounds good. I'm still trying to sell my Dell 2707 though to pay for my IE80s :(. Is there anywhere on headfi you can sell a luxury 27 inch high quality LCD monitor lol?

I just need to learn to be patient :). Although I am very excited as to what the potential this product possibly has. But that still remains to be seen... Someone buy my monitor from ebay lol.
