I use my case for my glasses. It's a little softer yet sturdy enough to protect the IEMs.

Otterbox 1000, it's $10 and the perfect size.  It's what Aurisonics is shipping with the ASG-1.

I'm using the Audeo pouch, it holds both my PFE132 and the IE8's at the same time

Its quite good. Better than it was on the IE8. Not as good as the FX700 or EX1000 but still very good.

Put one of these over your IE80:

I am afraid with those cups the IE80 may sound like Beats Studio. wink_face.gif

Honestly I hate the headphones when I go out. Even at home I still prefer the IEM's most of the time.

I use the TF10 for my commuter IEMs, good isolation and somewhat similar sound. I believe UE/Logitech is discontinuing them. If you use the flip mod they fit much better and you won't look like Frankenstein. Comply tips will make the treble smoother and more like the IE80. IMHO

I wouldn't dare to wear these in public, but I did a test with active noise cancelling Headphones over IEMs some time ago. Might actually work with the IE80 for plane rides.

Yeah, probably not the best idea. However, they would probably isolate pretty well.

My intent is to not bring any cans with me for the flights. I would rather bring two pairs of IEM's than one pair of cans due to portability, convenience and comfy. The IEM's just win hands down.

Even the sound stage by the IE80 is good enough for me comparing to headphones. With live concert recording, the IE80 sounds amazingly beautiful to my ears.
