Running little dot I+ without tubes on them

Hi all,

I am new to head-fi and I am enjoying every moment reading old threads.

I just bought a little dot I+ and I am wondering what is going to happen if I power on the amp without the vaccum tubes on them.

Anyone tried befrore? Will the sound be the same or it will not power up at all?

I never tried it before. Why don't you try it let me know. I think that would be better idea. But really, there won't be any music.

It won't power up.

And this isn't a terribly good idea, either. You might harm the amp by applying power with an incomplete circuit.

Probably not, but don't take the risk. There's nothing to be gained.
