I'm pretty sure the guys behind UM Australia are also the ones behind UM Global, so the remaining promo items will probably ship once they're satisfied with the cable?

I sent them a PM recently, and they told me they were almost done with their -eighth- revision, and that we should be seeing our cables before long.

There's a page on UMGlobal's website for the cable situation. I've filled in the form, but still haven't heard back from them.

I think all of the people who got shafted by UM in this deal ought to be a bit more vocal and call them out on their shenanigans - the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I agree. I think we are not putting enough pressure on them. For goodness sake, aren't you guys tired of waiting for the cables?

Since I gave my cables away with other sales, I am SOL.  A year in waiting was just too long to keep those stiff as hell cables.  This was an unfortunate incident and my lack of patience for the new ones will not allow me to get the replacements.  Either way, it was a terrible experience that I will not go through again.
