Hi,

 

I believe my current dac died on me so I am in the market for a new one. My price range is up to around $300 with cheaper being better but not at the point where I want something bad. It must have a usb input as well as RCA outs. It would be nice if it had multiple RCA outs to test it with multiple amps but that is not mandatory. If the dac has a power supply such as a sigma 11, tread psu, etc. I would want that to go along with the dac.

 

Also I am not really interested in any tube dacs so solid state only. Also i would like it shipped via usps since that is the best option for me shipping wise. Also please be from ConUS. I can pay via paypal only and would prefer a head-fi member in good standing here which is reflected on their feedback.

 

I have been looking at units such as the gamma 2, Nuforce HD, etc but open to suggestions.

 

edit: Just to clarify but I am not interested in usb powered dacs such as say the nuforce udac2.

Well i am without a proper dac right now for my home system so while I am patient and can use iems for now with my portable dac/amp I would rather not wait that long.
