Where to buy Soundcards & Headphones in Miami ?

Hello Head-Fi !

Living in France, I'm going to Miami in about a month. And since in my marvellous country, the $ <=> € conversion factor applied to hi-tech stuff is 1$ = 1€, I think I'll be spending some money there tongue_smile.gif

I am looking for polyvalent soundcard and headphones (Music, Movies & Games).
I haven't decided yet, but I think it's gonna be one of those :

Soundcards:
- Asus Xonar Xense
- Auzentech Bravura
- Auzentech Forte

Headphones:

- Sennheiser PC 350 Xense Edition (sold with the soundcard)
- AKG K272 HD
- Audio-Technica ATH-WS70
- AKG K242 HD
- AKG K271 MKII

Do you by any chance know some physical stores selling those brands in or near Miami ?
(I'll be staying there for a short time at the hotel and I can't risk to buy it online and have delivery problems...)

Thank you!

Here are some starters:

Tiger Direct has Retail stores in Miami/Dade County:

Guitar Center has a location at 7736 Kendall, Miami

However, I am not from Miami.  You may want to wait until someone more familar can give you a better reply.

I've googled this, found some stores. Take a look.

Thanks!

The ATH-WS70 is at a good price on TigerDirect. But it looks like AKG and Auzentech products are hard to find !

There also probably are some stores that have no websites.

EDIT: I found some AKG headphones at BestBuy, but it's very expensive compared to internet prices in France.

Cross the Bravura off your list, it's not a real X-Fi. (Why Auzentech didn't opt to give it a proper EMU20k2 like the Forte and HomeTheater HD is beyond me.)

Can't help you with stores for headphones (I don't even know of any in my area, let alone Miami), but you might want to seek out a Micro Center or Fry's Electronics for the sound card. I know the last time I visited the local Micro Center, they were stocking Auzentech cards.

BTW,

I think the Tiger direct stores are branded as CompUSA in Florida.

I checked on MicroCenter- They don't have any stores in Florida.

Here is the link for Harmon (AKG maker)

You may want to shoot them an e-mail and ask about their retailers in Florida.

Well, thank you all for your help.

There are unfortunately no Fry's shops either near Miami.

Indeed ph34r.gif

After hours of reviews reading, I can now tell it's gona be either :

- Auzentech X-Fi Forte + AKG K272HD / K242HD

or

- Asus Xonar Xense bundle

Depending on what I will be able to find...

Except for AKG headphones, everything seems to be less expensive in the USA.

I found Auzentech soundcards at a very good price at J&R compared to french retailers. But J&R physical shops are only in NY... confused_face.gif

I assume I'm gona be hunting little computer parts retailers L3000.gif
