I can remember the first Boeing 707 going over Bankstown.

Before that it was the Constellations.

The one that really set me off was the Vulcan flying over my school. The big delta wing was an amazing sight for a kid under ten years old.

 

 



And now we have video games depicting what aircraft probably would have been if weapons development was centered around aircraft delivering them.

The sky is full of chemical seeding. Vapor trails evaporate pretty quick. Those lingering for hours are not vapor.
