ok so i'm looking for a tube headphone amp to use for silent practice with my bass guitar

 

the only thing i'm not sure about is if it's possible to use my bass as source instead of mp3 players/pc etc etc

 

is this doable ? would i need some kind of converter for impedance or otherwise?
