In no order of preference:

 

  1. Classic rock, such as Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Carlos Santa
  2. Wide variety of Jazz, such as Pat Methany, John Scovill, Thelonious Monk, Shelly Manne, Sonny Rollins, Charlie Parker, Diane Schuur and Diana Krall
  3. Small scale Classical vocals and chamber groups - no orchestral

I'm very, very interested. I love listening to music, but when I go somewhere, I always have to leave my headphones behind, due to them either not being very portable, or very uncomfortable. These might finally be the answer to that. Also, as I'm an active person, I like to skate and the ruggedness would be very helpful.

I mostly listen to:

 

Alt-Rock (Mostly Cake and Cage)

Ska (Streetlight Manifesto, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Mustard Plug)

Jazz (Miles Davis) 

I listen to almost everything except for most pop and all rap.

I also recently got into dubstep.

 

I live in Santa Cruz, California, USA

 

I'm on head-fi almost all the time, except for when I go to sleep.
