Hello Head-Fi!,

Its nice to join your community. As many of you will tell, I am a new member of this community and therefor lack in a bit of information. BUT! I'm very eager to learn as much as I can.

Currently I am waiting to buy a custom headphile.com headphone, as I am very avid about uniqueness and custom modifications. However, currently there are non to be purchased, so I am just saving up the money for them.

But in the mean time. I would like to know what kind of amp I would need to obtain in order to power these bad boys. Most of my music will be coming from my desktop computer, which would mean I would need a DAC? If I remember correctly. Then a amp to go with it.

It would be optimal if I could get a portable amp/dac that would allow me to fully optimize these headphones. But if that is not possible, a desktop one wouldn't be bad ether. I could just listen to my shure 530's....which will probably sound like a 3 year old trying to learn violin after I get these Darths.

Your reply's would be most appreciated, as I do need a lot of help, and do not know much.

TEACH ME HEAD-FI MASTERS!

Very Respectfully,

Cho, Paul
