Anedio D2 DAC release - Page 80

Hi there,

I wonder if the improvements announced by Anedio regarding the Amp section, are significant when it comes to driving a HD 600/800s? I currently own a Violectric V100, and I would consider selling it to buy the D2, but I don't know if it will drive my HD 600/800s just as well. Any comments on that?

I have 650 & T1 but not 800. I said that the D2 drive them OK. It not as good as my V200, but not big different.

Just ordered the D2.

I use a D2 with a BHA-1 and the LCD-2v2.

I think it is a tad warmer than the D2 head outs by themselves. I certainly wouldn't say it's a big improvement. 

When I get around to it I'm going to pair my BHA-1 with my Oppo BDP-105. Now that I expect will be a big improvement. The Oppo BDP-105 head output has really doesn't have the power to do the LCD-2v2 justice.

Nearly. With some things like IEMs it it just as good, with large headphones it is very close, and sometimes the difference comes down to sound signature rather than ability.

Off course I can live with D2 alone. I think it is good enough to me.

Currently I got my prismsound orpheus. Compare it to D2, D2 is as good as orpheus. But orpheus have much more functionality than D2. All are great things. I love them.
