Just want to say hello to everyone and warn them that I'm relatively new to the headphone scene so please bear with me and make any replies as complete as possible.
So far my setup is IHP-120>(cable)>Emmeline XP-7>(cable)>Senn HD650
If anyone can recommend the 2 cables missing in my setup (mini to rca) and (headphone cables) I would be very appreciative. I don't actually have the amp yet but it is ordered and I can say, even being new to headphones, that the 650's need more zip than the IHP can provide!
Also can someone explain why the IHP's line in/outs are labeled optical outs? I picture actual fiber optic cables needing to be used instead of a stereo mini copper cable.
Cost is always a concern but i'm willing to pay more to get more as the saying goes so please recommend cables that are known to have good synergy with my amp and cans, thanks in advance!
