Vinyl Setup

I know next to nothing about this, so before buying stuff I cant use, I thought I'd ask here.

I am in need of speakers anyways, so I'm getting the A2's. Here is the list of everything I *THINK* I need.

Turntable:

http://www.amazon.com/Technica-AT-LP60-Automatic-Driven-Turntable/dp/B002GYTPAE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1313738996&sr=8-1

(Trusting this, because audiotechnica is a pretty reliable brand, has good reviews)

Stereo reciever:

http://www.amazon.com/Sherwood-RX-4109-Stereo-Receiver-Black/dp/B000MBUSD6/ref=pd_sim_e_1

(Not sure if I need this)

Speakers:

http://www.amazon.com/Audioengine-multimedia-speakers-total-high-gloss/dp/B000VKEFMS

(Have heard good things about these)

Amp:
Have nothing, reccomendations would be awsome.

DAC:

http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-Digital-Analog-Audio-Converter/dp/B0053VKP8S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314249753&sr=8-1

(Would this work? Used to have an amp by FiiO, was eventually lost, but I liked it)

Phono Cartridge:

http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestige-Black-Mount-Turntable/dp/B0009Y4G4S/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314250309&sr=1-2

For listening with headphones, I have a pair of SR225i's, so headphones are covered. Getting A2's regardless, as I need speakers.

If theres something I need that I'm missing, or im getting stuff that wont work, etc. Please let me know?

Bumping.

The A2 is a powered speaker so you don't need a power amp, you need a pre-amp with a phono input to send a line level to the speakers. The receiver you picked may have a pre-amp out, but check.

Ah, don't know if that one does, so I'm getting this: http://www.amazon.com/Harman-Kardon-HK-3390-Performance/dp/B00198BOAM/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1314340322&sr=1-6

which I know for sure does.

What kind of cables will I need to hook all of this together?

That has a phono input so you're good. It also has a line out to feed your powered speakers. Typically powered speakers have their own volume control. You can set that at max and just use the receiver's volume control. Cables are just regular RCA ones. I use Blue Jeans RCA, inexpensive and well constructed.

Awsome, thanks. One last stupid question: RCA-RCA? Both sides need to be RCA, right?
