Which speaker cables for my Wharfedale 9.3s?

Hi guys!

I am a new member to this forum (I just joined) and I need some help selecting speaker wire for my Wharfedale 9.3 speakers that I just bought.

Simply put, I have no idea as to what kind of cable I need to buy to power these speaker, or as to whether certain types of cables provide better sound than others.

I would be willing to shell out a few dollars more for cables if they significantly would improve the quality of sound that would come out of my speakers. As I'm starting out completely in the dark here, any help would be much appreciated.

As a side note, my receiver will be a Marantz 5005. Also, here is a link to the image of how the rear of my speakers looks like (I dunno if cables are speaker-specific):

Links to sites where I could buy proper speaker wire would help greatly!

Thanks in advance!

MonoPrice or Bluejeans makes good affordable cables. have not tried them myself, but they seem to be renowned for their built quality and sonic performance.

another one that I'd recommend is JW Audio's. I tried their speaker cables, and they're pretty good. ideal for entry-level systems. beware they're stiff.

choose to terminate in either spades or banana plugs.

BlueJeans is terrific. They'll give you the precise length you want with the connectors you want. I am very happy with the cables they built for me.
