Quick ortho question

When combining the wires into a single cable off a 3.5mm jack, which would be the neutral lead??  positive or negative (from the SFI drivers)

 

As in the lead shared by both drivers would be the positive or negative terminals. or does it even matter? I suppose it does

I would put the negative leads from the drivers together, and use for ground(you say neutral).
This will preserve phase with the recording, assuming that your source and amp are non-inverting.
