how does that look? and is it inside my case or does it come with the DX?

The Xonar DX does not come with any  power adapters.
Most computer power supplies come with at least one floppy power connector.

Do a search for an image of "floppy power connector" to see what it looks like.

ohh thanks i found one in my case :D thanks alot guys i love this forum!!! Thought i dont know if its long enought to go to my soundcard... is it possible to buy extension cables?

I just got the DT 770!!!smily_headphones1.gif I also got the Xonar DX, the 4 pin power thing as i said earlier, is too short but it doesnt even appear to come from the PSU, it comes from some little green card on the top of my case ( not the MOBO ), if i buy an extender for this cable will it be able to power the soundcard?

i just got the soundcard connected... wow.. that was amazing, i dont really want to bump this up but im SOOO happy i bought some higher end headphones this time, its sick! thanks everyone who posted on this thread biggrin.gif

Heh, hope you enjoy them!

 

I picked up my DT 770's locally just a couple weeks ago. Powered from the Xonar DG. Primary setup is for PC gaming.

 

I SERIOUSLY doubt I could have picked up a better pair for the price (for the characteristics I was looking for). I will say coming from the iHarmonix Platinum ev's it was an  E N O R M O U S  leap forward into quality sound.

 

Love them so much I picked up the Fiio E11 to power them from my Fuze. Just, wow. I wish I could snowboard with that combo.

 

This site is amazing. So much knowledge and understanding of these great products! Big ups to all of you who take the time to help those of us with less understanding of sound!
